Places to Film

As well as doing a film schedule, we need to organise where we will film our trailer. We all agreed that ti would be filmed in our school, seeing as some of the corridors and rooms would be perfect as sets and it is also the only large place that we were able to get permission to film in.
Here I have taken some photographs of the locations where we will film.
This could be a part of the building where we take the establishing shot, it's industrial and a little aged to make it look scary, which will suit the theme of the trailer.

The tables and chairs can easily be cleared in this room to give us filming space in a plain room, where there will be no distractions in the background (e.g. doors, posters), it's also well lit. If it is possible, the group is going to attempt to get their hands on some fake blood, which we could scatter across the walls (beforehand coating the walls in laminate or some kind of discreet paper material so that the walls don't stain).

A lot of the doors around our school have glass panels in them, which would make it easy to get shots through the glass of windows (there are 2 or 3 shots through windows in the storyboard).

There are lots of escape hatches, fire exits and locked doors around the school which would be perfect for filming the quick jump cuts of people trying to break out of the building.
This long corridor is perfect for filming the scary clips where the students are running away from the Zombies. It would also be perfect to be used in the scene where they see the first Zombie and there are jump cuts of it getting closer and closer to the people at the end of the corridor.

This looks like a modern, clean building, but a confined space. With 4-5 people crammed inside and flickering lights (Hannah said she could get a strobe light we could use). Again, this corridor would be perfect for jump cuts of the people trapped inside the building fighting off the baddies. This could also be the place where the lockdown begins.

This is definitely going to be the grotty area where the main characters see a dead body of a scientist and she gets up and begins to run at them. It looks like a large room when it is in fact a wide, plane corridor.

These stairs will be excellent for shots of people running down them with Zombles trying to grab at them through the bars / stair rails. Our school is full of stairs (116... I counted) and it won't be a problem to find plenty of dark staircases to film on.

To conclude, here's a picture of Adele.

The lock on the door is idea for the scene where one of the girl tried to break the lock on a door, she could scream 'Where's the combination?!' if we use this door.
